Mexican Street Food

El Guapo's is a Mexican street food cafe and tequila bar where we strive to make the best food we can, served in relaxed surroundings. Our specialities are Tortas and Tacos.

Our Tacos are made fresh on the premises daily from Mexican corn.  This means they are both wheat and gluten free.

Our Tortas are essentially a Mexican sandwich, made with a crusty bread filled with a variety of tasty fillings.

So check out our location and opening times, menu and learn a bit more about us. If you like special offers then you should follow us on twitter @elguapobristol or on thebookface.  See some pictures of cafe and the food or look at hiring the venue.

We are now opening Friday nights with a great selection of tequilas!  Trust us you've not had proper tequila until you've tried an oak aged anejo.  See our Tequila menu.

Breakfast is from 10am Saturday with the fantastic Huevos Rancheros (eggs, tortillas, spicy salsa, refried beans).

Some nice things people have said about us:

The owners of El Guapo are friendly and likeable characters with a clear passion for their food and this business venture. The café itself is incredibly cool, modern yet rustic with white walls, flashes of bright colour throughout and old wood tables.  'Bristol Foodie'

The pair have both spent time in Mexico, and this has definitely shaped the menu – they’re aiming to provide Bristol with somewhere to buy authentic street food, but street food that appeals to the British palate. “ Bristol Bites'

El Guapo is offering the most authentic Spanish-influenced Mexican street food in Bristol and if that isn't reason enough to click your Cuban heels and shout "olé", I don't know what is. 'Bristol Evening Post'
